Would you like me to send over a quick quote? [Your name] [Phone number]Option 2: Facebook Group Comments Join 3 local Facebook groups. Find posts where people ask for recommendations or advice related to your service. Leave a helpful comment + offer. Comment Template:

Lesson 3.7: The Referral Engine
Format: 📖 Reading | Duration: 10 minHook
The best clients come from existing happy clients. A referral is worth 5x a cold lead because trust is already established.Concept
When to Ask for Referrals:- Right after you finish a job and see the client is happy
- When they text/email to say thank you
- A week after service when you follow up
"I'm so glad you're happy with the work! I'm trying to grow my business and I'd love to serve more people like you. Do you know anyone else who might need [service]?"Via Text/Email:
"[Name], thanks again for trusting me with your [service]! I'm looking to help more neighbors in [area]. If you know anyone who might need [service], I'd really appreciate you passing my name along. I love referrals because they usually mean I get to work with great people like you!"With an Incentive:
"For every friend you refer who books with me, I'll give you $[amount] off your next service. Just have them mention your name!"Incentive Ideas:
- $25-$50 credit off next service
- 10% off next 3 services
- Free add-on service
- Gift card to local coffee shop
- Who referred who
- Whether they booked
- Whether you sent the thank you/reward
Bizzby in Action
Kai will set up an automated referral request sequence: 7 days after service, a friendly text asks for referrals and explains the incentive program.Example
Blake runs a lawn care business. His referral program:- Every client gets a business card with "$50 off for you and $50 off for your friend" on it
- He asks in person after the second service (when relationship is established)
- He follows up with a text a week later
- In his first 6 months, 40% of his new clients came from referrals
